Vilnius is the capitol of Lithuania and is steeped in history. The old town has been fully restored, making a pleasurable stroll along cobbled roads to view different buildings, visit museums and shops. With theatres and concerts followed by a visit to the bars and clubs you are never bored at night. Kaunas used to be the capitol until 1940 and there you will find the old fortifications surrounding the town dating back to the occupation years. A beautiful city with clean shopping streets and a relaxing atmosphere. |

Take a flight in a small plane or a balloon to get a birds eye view of the country. Golf is developing with 3 new cousres built in 2004/5 and there are plenty of cycle routes, both city and x-country or be more extreme and rent a quadbike or 4x4 for the unltimate cross country experience. Hunting wild boar and deer can be arranged with special liciences for small groups each year. In the evening have a bit of fun at one of the many go-karting tracks or bowling allies before a delicious meal in the many traditional restaurants. |
